First Look
Open the black box and the first thing you see is the gold winged Limit 45 emblem: Est. 1972, The Taste of Pleasure, Reserva Especial, hecho a mano en República Dominicana. Inside, ten cigars sit side by side, each dressed in the Limit 45 band with its signature red foot band.
The Cigar
A Toro (6 x 52) with a dark Maduro wrapper, made from all-Dominican tobacco and rolled by hand. It has real presence in the hand, and the racing-inspired band tells you right away this is Codio’s bold statement.
The Smoke
Limit 45 opens full and flavorful, with a deep, satisfying draw that rewards you from the first light to the last inch. Medium-full in strength: bold, but smooth enough to enjoy slowly.
The Burn
As you can see in the photos, it holds a firm, layered ash as it smokes down.
